They nursed them, cooked, and did the laundry! Some important women helped Americans escape British prisons, or passed British secrets to the Americans! Some women also dressed as men to participate in the battle!
2. African Americans - African Americans fought for the American side and British side! They fought either because they believed in the cause, or they were hired to fight. Another reason to fight was they would get freedom if they fought with the British!
3. Native Americans - More Native Americans were on the British side because they were more convinced that they were fighting for a good cause. They thought Americans would try to take all their land!
