Since the city is industrial, machinery would be involved in work, meaning that there is a possibility of being "decapitated", hurt, and/or killed.
I would not have much education since most schools would cost, in this case, I'm poor. Unless, public school becomes free for all children, education would be my top priority in these times of sake.
Living conditions for me would be harsh, with little food and little water. Dirty clothes and small houses, since I wouldn't make much working in an industrial city. I would get up early every morning, brush my teeth with a cloth rag with water since I wouldn't be able to afford toothpaste. I would then eat a bread slice, and take along fruit and more bread for later on during work. Coming back, feeling exhausted and weak, going on to sleep to wake up the next day doing the same thing.
