The Great Compromise include how the representatives in Congress will be counted for every state, you can explain how the smaller states like the senate which is two representatives per state regardless of population, while HoR is base on population. This also greatly impacted on the issue of slavery and abolition as smaller southern states were generally against abolition of slavery. Now, the legislative government of USA is still in this structure and determines how the laws and bills are passed in the federal government.
