Can someone help me with this one problem?

A pool is filling with water at a rate of 45 gallons every 5 minutes,
How many gallons of water will be in the pool in one hour?

Sagot :

If 45 gallons are filled every 5 minutes and there’s 60 minutes in an hour so you’d have to divide to see how many times 5 is in 60 so 60 divided by 5 is 12. So you’d do 12 x 45= 540. Therefore your answer is 540 gallons of water will be in the pool in one hour.
How many minutes are in 1 hour which is 60 min divide by 5 and it would be 12 now do 45x12 =540
