In this writing assignment we are going to pretend to be a cell organelle working in a
"cell factory". You are frustrated that you are not paid high enough because of the
important role you have in the cell. Please write a 6-10 sentence paragraph in the
form of a letter directed to the nucleus of the cell (your boss) describing what your
role is in the cell and why you think that you deserve a raise.
Be sure to:
• Identify which organelle you are (you may pick any Eukaryotic Cell organelle

• why the "cell factory" cannot afford to lose you (what would happen if your
