A recent presidential election I remember is the election of president joe Biden. One thing that stuck out to me about this election was the influence of the media. With trump and Biden being the top candidates from opposing parties, the media was quick to spread false information about both. This election was extremely polarized. The country was split in half of democrats and republicans causing it to be a negative experience for me. People would say hateful things to each other if their opinions were opposing. Each parties main goal was to make the other party look bad. The media would feed into this idea for more attention.
