Sagot :

Answer:

Midsegment theorem:

Midsegment of a triangle is half the length of the third side in order to fill in the triangle.

So, the perimeter of a midsegment tirangle is half the perimeter of QRS.

Perimeter of QRS:

For finding out it's perimeter sum up all the sides while adding alike variables together.

=> (2x + 5) + (3x - 1) + (5x)

= 2x + 3x + 5x + 5 - 1

= 10x + 4

Perimeter of mid-segment triangle:

Perimeter of QRS divided by 2

[tex] \implies \mathsf{ \frac{10x + 4}{2} }[/tex]

= 5x + 2
