When the Soviets blockaded Berlin, what was the response of the United States?

Sagot :

when this happened U.S.A used the U.S.A airlift which they dropped food and fuel for the civilians

The United States wasn't ready for another war. No one except the Germans wanted to fight Russia and you see how that turned out for them. the United States response was to conduct the Berlin Airlift which was basically just airlifting in food to help the Berliners. I think the United States tried to stop the blockade diplomatically but I'm not completely sure. I assume they did but I don't have proof.
