i need to write an email to an elected official about a subject or question i have on an specific topic and i dont know how to start it

I would say something such as “I would personally like to see repetitive changes throughout our country with new spreading viruses such as omicron. If we can try to find new ways to prepare in social, everyday and necessary events such as school it would be productive towards everyone.” And then keep going

A new and potentially more transmissible coronavirus variant first identified by South African scientists has prompted a fresh round of travel restrictions across the world and raised concern about what may be next in the pandemic.

The strain, named Omicron, was designated Friday as a variant of concern by the World Health Organization, which said studies of it are underway as advisers continue to monitor it.
