Active voice is when the subject performs the action expressed in the verb. (Ex. The man mailed
the letter.)
Passive voice is when the subject is no longer active, but is, instead, being acted upon by the verb.
(Ex. Hamburgers are being eaten.)
Directions: Read each sentence and change each passive voice sentence to active voice.
Example A: The book is being read by the teacher.
Answer: The teacher is reading the book.

3. The chunks of dirt will be removed from the street by clean-up teams.
