If x =2/3, what is the value of the following expression? X^3 x 3 divided by 2/9 + 9x - 7-6x

Sagot :

This is a basic algebraic equation

And will be using PEMDAS to solve

P: Parentheses
E: exponents
M: Multiplication
D: Division
A: Addition
S: Subtraction

If you are unaware of PEMDAS this is the order at which you solve algebraic equation. So start from “P” and end with “S”

X= 2/3

2/3^3 Times 3 Divided by 2/9 + 9(2/3) - 7 - 6(2/3)

Now, personal I’d choose to convert fractions to decimals to simplify solving the equation. I doubt this is the only way to solve for the equation but I find this is the easiest

To convert a fraction to decimal you divide the numerator by the denominator.

So 2/3 is 0.666667
And
That means 2/9 is 0.222222

0.666667^3*3/0.222222+9(0.666667)-7-6(0.666667)

Making you answer roughly -0.999989

Hope this helps, but I’m not sure if this is completely right or not
