A soil with the presence of living organisms indicates good soil structure conditions. Soil microorganisms are the main agents for chemically transforming nutrients, making them available for absorption by plant roots.

- Sandy soil
It has a greater amount of sand than the average (contains about 70% sand). They dry quickly because they are very porous and permeable: they have large spaces (pores) between the grains of sand. The water then passes easily between the grains of sand and soon reaches the deeper layers. Mineral salts, which serve as nutrients for plants, go along with the water. Therefore, sandy soils are generally poor in nutrients used by plants. Need correction and fertilization.
