In order to determine the aspects of the soil we need to know....

  • Physical Aspect

The texture of a soil is related to the size of the grains that form it. A soil has different amounts of sand, clay, organic matter, water, air and minerals. The way these components are organized represents the structure of the soil. A well-structured soil should be soft and porous allowing the penetration of water and air, as well as small animals and roots.

  • Chemical Aspect

It relates to the nutrients that will be used by plants. These nutrients, dissolved in the soil water (solution), penetrate through plant roots. How we deal in the matter of Macro and Micronutrients.

  • Biological Aspect

It deals with living organisms in the soil, which act on the physical and chemical aspects of a soil. Life in the soil is only possible where air, water and nutrients are available. A soil with the presence of living organisms indicates good soil structure conditions. Soil microorganisms are the main agents for chemically transforming nutrients, making them available for absorption by plant roots.
