2.The U.S army was too big and the Native americans got defeated.  Americans got control of the land. Some warrior became alcoholics.

3. Police tried to arrest the Sitting Bull, the famous Sioux chief, who they mistakenly believed was a Ghost Dancer. The impact was that they killed him in the process, increasing the tensions at Pine Ridge.
