Just as I was about to light the birthday cake with my family and friends it started heavily raining but we didn’t let it stop us and we decided to go home and celebrate my 15th birthday but once again- as I was about to relight the candles we heard thunder and lightning and the power went out.
Once upon a time there was a boy named Jake. He loved birthday parties! and guess what his birthday was only 1 day away, he was so excited that he only talked about it. This years theme were dinosaurs and I must say it is rather interesting for an 8 year old boy! He was going to celebrate his Birthday in a place called Dino-Park where playgrounds looked like dinosaurs! The next day when he woke up, he was a ball of joy! But unluckily, it started raining heavily! There were the sounds of angry thunder and lightning buzzing through the sky, Oh what a tragedy! On the day of his birthday! He long hoped that it would stop, but only a miracle could do that because it was almost like a storm! Now Jake was upset. The ball of joy had turned into a ball of sadness along with the gloomy weather. His parents were not in a mood to see their son so sad, especially on his birthday! They tried to console him and tell him that they would still celebrate his birthday and that the cake would be huge! But that did not work. At about 5PM he heard a doorbell, DING-DONG, his father opened the door and all his best friends fired into the house slowly hid. Then Jake's father called him down, he came down and everyone yelled SUPRISEEE!!! He was astonished! He was so happy to see everyone! Then the cake came, it was a whole dinosaur and it was huge!!! He thought that the people that bring him joy no matter what was always his family and friends, and they had a blast with games, music, and dancing!
