In a math contest, Jack earned 10 points for every problem solved correctly and lost 1 point every time he did not label his answers with units of measure. What is his score on the test (t) if he solved 9 questions correctly but forgot to write units on "z" answers? What would be the equation?

Sagot :

T=90-Z

Because 9 solved correctly*10 points per question answered correctly=90 and each incorrect question is a point lost
Somebody already answered it but if you wanted to expand the equation then you could add another variable such as p for points and say T= 9p-z
