In his memoir The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, William Kamkwamba begins by describing his upbringing. Where, when, and how did Kamkwamba grow up? What was the geography of his childhood like and what were the customs of his people and family? What influences outside of his society came to bare on his upbringing? Write a couple of paragraphs answering these questions. Be aware of flow. Make sure not simply to summarize but to analyze. Use a lot of details and examples from the book and be sure to use proper textual support now. Of course, make sure your own thoughts are expressed in equal measure. Finally, always be sure to proofread and revise for proper grammar and punctuation.
