Explanation

Step-by-step explanation: I don’t have time to answer it all but I can help you. assuming this is Sine, Cosine, Tangent

You want to identify opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse. Adjacent is the side next to the angle they give you . Opposite is side opposite of the angle and hypotenuse is the hypotenuse of the triangle. So for number 1. or C it’s 5 because it’s a right triangle and the sides are equal but here’s how to do it using tangent, sine, and cosine

adjacent = 5

Hypotenuse = undefined

Opposite = x

if one is undefined we don’t use it. Now how I remember what to do is SohCahToa.

S is Sine C is for Cosine and T is for tangent. Now for the letters o, h, and a stand for opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse. So since we have 5 and x defined it’s the adjacent and opposite. The letter with AO or OA is the letter T so on the calculator you will use TAN. Make the fraction based on SohCahToa. It’s opposite than adjacent so x/5. Put on the calculator the angle 45 and use TAN. Make sure your calculator is on rad or you’ll get the answer wrong. Than round to the thousands if you need to and multiply by 5. If x is in the denominator you divide by the number but it’s not. So it would be 5.
