Yes it is definitely worth the cost. The housing market has gotten way higher in the last few years so just the cost to have a house of more expensive then it used to be. Most jobs that don’t require college level education start you at minimum wage which doesn’t cover the cost of housing in most places (that’s including apartments). Plus you add the costs of food and utilities and so on. The prices of almost everything have risen so you have to keep that in mind as well. You might have debt but it’s better to be paying that off while having a house and food on your plate instead of not having debt but living paycheck to paycheck or not having a house. And if you want a family prices go up.
