Sagot :
I think that The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a great book. It tells of a fictitious world in which the citizens of Panem fight to stay alive under the control of a powerful merciless government. Because of a long ago event, where the citizens of Panem grew angry at the Capital, and started a protest, the Capital has been ruthless, intent on forever punishing the Panemians (not an actual word). They developed a cunning way to keep the citizens of Panem in check, by forcing them to sacrifice two children from each district, to fight to the death in an arena. The winner would then be transported home, with food for the entire district. The losing districts would stay hungry and poor. This was a good way for the Capital to keep the districts from rising up against the Capital again, because they were pitted against each other.
Lots of secrets and interesting facts are revealed in each book in The Hunger Games and the other two books in the triology. This is a great book for all ages.
Hope this helps! Please let me know if you need more help, or if you think my answer is incorrect. Brainliest would be MUCH appreciated. Have a great day!
