So my school has this web filtering thing called "Securly". Me and my friends have found many work-arounds and bypasses. We found that you can use apps in the chrome web store including Droneblocks, Shero EDU, and MyHomework Student Planner. We have also found a web proxy; formulatemath.com ika Holy Unblocker. Although Our school district was pretty quick to block them. We can't delete securly app with certificates and we can access most HTTP HTTPS editing websites, also we can't turn our Chromebooks to developer mode through power washing using the keys F3 esc and power. Also to make matters worse they have blocked almost everything in the chrome web store and most web vpn's like Hide my *** Nord VPN and other services. One of my friends have even made a JavaScript to bypass but they somehow disabled it. My buddies and I am just looking for some other work-arounds or bypasses out there.

Note: Other JavaScript's might work but I don't know for sure

It is important to note that to turn off Web Filtering:

  • You would have to log in to the network configuration utility as an administrator
  • Select the blocked sites
  • Disable the filters you want.
  • Apply settings
  • Log out from the configuration

What is a Web Filter?

This refers to the technology which is in charge of redirecting users from a given website or URL by preventing their browsers from loading the page.
