PROJECT: SCIENCE NEWS
Step 1: Pick a news article about space/astronomy from one of these websites (see below options). Read it and write a one paragraph summary on it. This means pick out a main idea or two from each paragraph in the article. Write these main ideas in your very OWN words. Answer:

Falcon 9 is the first rocket to be able to relaunch that is designed and manufactured by Spacex in the United States. This means that this is the first rocket that can relaunch back to space then back to earth. It is safe for people and payloads to enter the earth's orbit. By it being reusable this rocket can refly the most expensive parts of the rocket. Falcon 9 has a total of 153 launches in total, 113 total landings and has reflown 92 times. Its name is derived from the fictional Star Wars spacecraft named ¨Millennium Falcon.¨ Its 22.6ft in height, 12ft in diameter, and with the mass of 1,207,920 lb. The rocket is powered by Merlin. Merlin is a engine developed by Spacex for its use on Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 meaning heavy launch vehicles. The engine uses rocket grade kerosene and liquid oxygen as rocket propellants in a gas generator power cycle.

For me it was really interesting because it's literally the first rocket that can relaunch. Which is good for the environment because we don't have to use so many materials and waste them by having to make new engines and new rockets because the rockets aren't relaunchable. With Relaunchable rockets this means that we can reuse more and not waste more which little by little helps the earth and to save resources. It's crazy to think that we have that kind of technology now, like imagine what the future could be like! This also agrees with the bible because I was taught from a little kid that god likes when we don't waste things. Wasting less money too! Like, think about all the trees we save by these rockets. So overall I really like Falcon 9 because it's reusable and better for the environment.
