Todays world is very complex. Alot of things happen on a daily basis wether its good or bad. Unlike with fairy tales, fairy tales have this "magic" to them. They have compelling stories that make you wish you were one of the characters living that spefic life.

Explanation: (This is for the fairy tale(first half) not the second part (tricksters)

We enjoy fairy tales so much becuase they give us room to imagine a life without pain, and all the bad things that come with life. I think we repeat these stories over time in hopes that our life would become a "fairy tale". We also repeat these stories so we may have comfort or joy in the present for the future. Or we remeber the joy we had in the past after watching fairy tales and long for that joy in the present. Fairy tales open our eyes to other cultures by letting us see there people out there with different stengths,weakess,colors, and personailities as us. Living a happily ever after in fairy tales means "finding a prince charming, live in a palace, be a princess" and other stuff like that. In my opinion living a happily every after mean enjoying the life that YOU have. Not longing for someones else life but finally being able to enjoy YOUR life and being able to happily live in YOUR own skin.
