Sagot :
It depends on what you’re talking about. The book is usually far more detailed and the characters generally have more depth to them. However, when it comes to older books sometimes the movie can be more enjoyable for a modern audience as older books can be difficult to comprehend but when you’re seeing it it’s able to be understood. For example, “Jane Eyre” is one of my favorite novels, and one of my best friends hated the book (keep in mind it was written in like 1847). However, when the two of us watched the movie she ended up loving it because she felt like she could understand what was happening. So, it honestly just depends. I generally prefer the book, but it’s all up to which series and other factors. Some of my favorite book adaptations that aren’t necessarily as good as the book but are pretty close include, Jane Eyre (2014), Little Women (2019), The Great Gatsby (2012), Every Chronicles of Narnia movie from the 2000’s, and Pride and Prejudice (2005)
