Solving by using elimination method

Multiplying eq 1 with 3 and eq 2 with 5

5(- 4x + 3y) = 5(-7)

-21x + 15y = (-33)

-20x + 15y,= (-35)

Subtracting both the eq.

-x = 2

x = (-2)

Putting this value in eq. 1
