Sagot :
As Commander in Chief, the President is only a symbolic leader of the military.
Indian constitution assigned different power to the President to protect the Constitution of India. It includes Legislative power, Executive power, power of Pardon, and Military power. Under Military Power, the President is the Commander in Chief of all India's armed forces. He has the power to declare war or conclude a peace treaty with another country on the advice of the Council of Ministers headed by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister after discussion through the Council of Ministers takes approval from President to take a military decision. President alone can not decide the military decision. He is the rubber stamp but not the sole authority.
Therefore as a Commander in Chief, The President is only the symbolic leader of the military.
