You and your best friends have received a grant to travel to the Peruvian Amazon Jungle to learn about the rainforest and help save it from deforestation. Before you go, you must help educate your friends on the vocabulary they will need to know about saving the rainforest.

Parte 1. Draw a poster or create a slide show that illustrates at least 5 different elements of the Amazon that you want to conserve. Think about the ecosystems, plants, animals, and tribes that exist there. Label your drawings/images in Spanish. Then, write 5 "dichos" or "esloganes" (sayings or slogans) that encourage others to protect the rainforest. These slogans should be written as formal commands in both the affirmative and negative (review them first in lesson 5.5). Example: (affirmative formal command) Cuide la selva amazónica. Example: (negative formal command). No destruya los árboles.

Parte 2. Then, for each image/drawing, write two sentences using vocabulary from the unit and the criteria below. You should have at least 10 sentences.

One past tense sentence about how this element Amazon was/used to be before now using imperfect or preterite tense.
