In general, this drink is consumed in several South American countries such as: Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay, where it is traditional due to the traditional use that was given to it during the Colony. Generally taken in place of coffee, it can be consumed at work or at home to stimulate the body.

I think I would like the flavor because it can be mixed with different plants and other components to give it a pleasant flavor, although the acid flavor that it traditionally has can be good.

To prepare this infusion it is necessary to have hot water and dry mate leaves, we must put the leaves in the water and wait for the leaves to release the flavor.
