How do you think the people conquered by the Romans felt about their new rulers

Sagot :

BrainE
Most kingdoms and nations actually wanted to be conquered. The Romans gave small and large empires protection, food, wealth, roads, and a sewage system. All they had to do was pay their taxes and no problem was found. Those who resisted being conquered by Rome usually were tyrants who wanted to continue suppressing the people.
It would most likely depend on who it is and their economic rank. If they were perhaps very poor, they wouldn't like the Romans, because they would be mistreated and also be looked down on. However if you were more wealthy you would most likely be happy, because you have a chance to gain more land throughout these foreigners, or maybe you could just pay them to go away.
