Sagot :

One of the most significant events of the 20th century, and one of three percent of the world's population, was World War II, a war that led to the death of three percent of the world's population.

During the Second World War, 39 million people died in Europe, with half of them civilians. As a result of six years of ground battles and bombing, there has been a widespread destruction of homes as well as physical capital.

Hope this helps :)
