Carbohydrates is a naturally occurring monosaccharide which found primarily in the honey and fruits and vegetables. It breaks into two categorize , widely used sweeter consisting of glucose and fructose manufacture by cornstarch.
Fructose is monosaccharide , single sugar , it has the same chemical formula as glucose but different molecular structure. Natural monosaccharies is d-glucose and vitamin c which is ascorbic acid , derived from the glucose.
Carbohydrates naturally obtained from grains ( bread, noodles, pasta , crackers) , fruits ( apples, banana, mangoes) and cannot further hydrolyzed to give simpler unit of polyhydroxy aldehyde or ketone is called a monosaccharide. There are 20 monosaccharide also known to occur in nature. For examples - Ribose, galactose , glucose , fructose , etc.
