Millennium development goal report said that the progress in reducing extreme hunger is uneven across regions and countries. Any area classified extreme poverty , that area had the least amount of drop in extreme hungry .

According to hite and seitz -"wealth and poverty ,the millennium development goals were created to provide developing countries support through the partnership of developed countries."

There are several factor which are contribute to uneven progress in reducing extreme poverty such as sex, age, disability, ethnicity or geographical condition of that area. Women are discriminated against and this is the major causes of uneven progress which keeps them in poverty longer than men.Lack of education or children in extreme poverty rarely go to school.
