The Graph Shows The Total Mass Loss Of The Greenland Ice Sheet Since 2007 Write A Conjecture Using The Graph class=

Sagot :

The rate of the total mass loss of the Greenland ice is on the decline as the year grows older, as the highest loss was recorded between 2011 to 2013

What is a conjecture?

The term conjecture refers to making intelligent guess from little information available or forming an opinion from an observed pattern. Conjecture can be applied in a graph in the sense that ,graphs shows information of the data that it is used to present.

The data represented in the graph shows a direct variation mathematical relationship, the direct variation relationship means that increment in one variable leads to increment in the other variable. Hence as the years get older there will be more total mass loss of the Greenland ice.

A closer look at the graph shows that the amount of total mass loss of the Greenland ice was at reduction between 2013 and 2015. The total mass loss tried to pick up again between 2015 and 2017 but the increment was never like as it were between 2011 and 2013 where the total mass loss of the Greenland ice was at the greatest.

Hence we can conclude that the rate of the total mass loss of the Greenland ice is on the decline as the year grows older, as the highest loss was recorded between 2011 to 2013
