I had some pretty great experiences while I was in high school, but my favorite ones happened in a particular class during my final year in Sacramento, California.
I was therefore essentially a new student in these kinds of classes, and I also struggle with English. My first presentation in this class comes to mind. My favorite moment was when I eventually overcame my reluctance to do it. I was apprehensive before I went to give a presentation, but afterward, I was overjoyed with how well it went. Since I now know that I can do everything I set my mind to, I feel so much better than I did on my first presentation day.
The knowledge I've gained has made this situation so much better because I now understand that I must put my trust in myself. Teachers and students can learn from my experience that we must conquer our fears and not allow them to rule us because if we are frightened, we won't be able to realize our capabilities.
