Sagot :

Evolution is the process by which modern organisms have descended from past organisms. It can cause organisms to look alike or create life with a great amount of diversity.

Some organisms evolve quickly  because the speed of evolution has increased over time and this is due to bacteria and viruses constantly exchange transposable chunks of DNA between species, making it possible for life forms to evolve faster.

However, some organisms evolve more slowly because they largely  relied only on sexual selection or random genetic mutation.

Evolution is not a matter of chance although there are some factors concerning evolution such as its unpredictable, and randomness that are largely due to chance. However,  while the cause of evolution is random (mutations in our genes) the processes of evolution (selection) is not.
