NaHS, which produces H2S in vivo, was administered, however normalisation was not noticed. In conclusion, the combination of garlic and DADS stimulates mitochondrial biogenesis and reduces heart hypertrophy by rats' eNOS-Nrf2-Tfam pathway.
Thus, Diallyl disulfide reduces the isoproterenol-induced cardiac hypertrophy in rats through stimulating the eNOS-Nrf2-Tfam pathway.
