How does the Unitary System of Government differ from other systems?

Goverments are: Federal System, Confederal System, Monarchy, Democracy, Autocracy, Parliamentary, Socialist Form of Government, and Communist Form of Government.

The way that the Unitary government would differ from the other systems is because in other forms of government all of the powers in the government are vested on the hands of the central government unlike the federal system that has the government shared between other units.

That is, it is the system of government that has the powers of the government to lie in the hands of a central power in government. This is in opposition to the federal system of government.

Power is not shared between the states and the counties in this form of governance. Examples of the areas that practice such are China and the United Kingdom.
