You will be creating a presentation on your feudal society and explaining why you chose a European characteristic or a Japanese characteristic for each aspect of your society. Use complete sentences and be specific and thorough in your explanations. If you do outside research, make sure you use power searching! Review the module's information carefully and supplement it with research where you want to understand more deeply.

Your presentation must include the following key points:

How did your feudal society develop? Take a look at how feudalism developed in Europe and in Japan. Which would you choose and why? Which was a smoother transition?
Social structure—How would you divide your social classes?
Daily life—How would it be for each of your social classes (minimum of six explanations)?
How would your feudal economy work? Note this is probably the most challenging point, because feudalism is itself an economic system. Make sure you understand the defining characteristics of a feudal economy and identify how Europe and Japan differed economically.
Choose your top three favorite pieces of literature or art from either medieval Europe or Japan. Explain why you chose those pieces
