Government agencies such as NOAA, FEMA, and others are working to resolve this issue and the government is spending billions on resources to track solar weather. A possible solution to the avoiding large expenditures
on massive satellites could be the use of cubesats. Cubesats are small satellites that can be sent to fill a gap in tracking a specific weather phenomenon among the larger satellites already functioning. The only problem is,
since they are small, they can't process as much information as the larger satellites. Could it still be worth sending them up to gather data while we plan for different resources?
