Oh, I used to love this novel ~! :) I read it like 6 times and watched it like 3! :) So, Colin faces his conflict by mainly B, He Stopped thinking about his future and started thinking about the task in front of him! :) If you remember in reading The Novel 'The Secret Garden,' Colin was always thinking about what was going to happen he did not think about what was happening then... That's why he was always really grouchy (in the movie) :)  So, I'd say... B! :) Hope it helps!!!~ :)
