This is the first phrase of your piece. You are going to come up with 4 different rhythmic ideas to be performed at the same time. As you are practicing performing these rhythms you should layer each one. It should be performed like this, Rhythmic Idea 1 is played, Once the idea is finished rhythmic idea 2 starts being played. As rhythmic idea 2 is being played so is rhythmic idea 1. You do this until all 4 rhythms are being played at the same time.
