Schachter and singer (1962) gave the theory of emotional arousal which consists of different stages, this is also known as the two-factor theory of emotion. there are two processes that occur together simultaneously that's why you would experience different emotions on Saturday versus Sunday night.

The two-factor theory of feeling states that emotion is supported by 2 factors: physiological arousal ANd psychological feature label. the speculation was created by researchers Stanley Schachter and Jerome E. Singer. in step with the theory, once a feeling is felt, a physiological arousal happens and thus the person uses the immediate atmosphere to go looking for emotional cues to label the physiological arousal.
