Because he kept in constant touch with God, he had the courage to make a decision to attack Chedarlaomer's coalition army of 100,000 with his confederation army of 1,000. His men were trained but unseasoned. He had the wisdom to plan a pursuit and to go undetected. He had the foresight to divide his army and to attack at night. But God gave the victory over an invincible army. Abram had the capacity to receive a victory. He gave God the glory.
