1. Describe a real-world scenario that uses a right triangle. Sketch your
triangle and label everything (right angle, opposite angle, adjacent angle,
and hypotenuse).
2. List at least two assumptions you could make in solving real-world, right
triangle problems (for example, the shadow is on the ground, a wall is
perpendicular to the floor, etc.), and explain how the assumptions can help
to solve problems.
3. Find another student's post and comment on the assumptions that you may
or may not agree with. Discuss assumptions you found helpful that may not
have occurred to you.
