There are different word choices in the poem the "Road not Taken" Such as diverged, undergrowth, trodden etc. diverged simply means to split in two different ways which also suggests two different choices in life. One signifies conformity and the another suggests nonconformity. While on the other hand undergrowth means bushes and plants. It also means the poet can't see what lies on the other side of the road.
