Sagot :

If a space shuttle is returning from space and entering earth's atmosphere, then the order of layers of the atmosphere that the space shuttle will pass  is troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, ionosphere.

What is known as atmospheric layers?

The atmosphere is divided into five layers depending on the distance from earth. The atmospheric layer nearest to the earth is troposphere and then stratosphere on which ozone is present.

Each atmospheric layer differs in the presence of gases, temperature and pressure. Jet aircrafts fly in the stratosphere as it is very stable. Ozone layer absorbs harmful rays from the Sun.

Meteors burn up in the mesosphere. The thermosphere is a layer with auroras and space shuttle orbits here.
