Although the pay might be better, year-round school would negatively affect the lives of teachers everywhere. Teachers make school possible in the first place, and they need time off in the summer to plan for the school year and to relax. We can’t be good teachers if we’re exhausted! It’s a well-known fact that without significant time away from school, teachers—and students, as well—are going to experience burnout. What bias does this source show?
