An atom has 25 protons, 30 neutrons, and 25 electrons. Explain WHY the charge of the atoms nucleus is +25.

Sagot :

the charge of the nucleus would be +25 because neutrons and protons are inside the nucleus while electrons are outside , so it has no part in this. Neutrons have a charge of 0 while Protons have a charge of +1 and if you have 25  +1s with zeros you're gonna end up with a +25 charge. :)
