Suppose seven consecutive integers add up to 350. What is their average

Sagot :

AL2006

The average of a bunch of integers is

     (sum total of the integers) divided by (number of integers in the bunch) .

   Average = (sum of items) / (number of items).

Write the given information into this formula:

     Average = (350) / (7)

     Average = 50 .
=================================

You should have noticed immediately that the question does NOT
ask for a list of what the seven consecutive integers are.

If it did, then it would be incumbent on me to demonstrate how they
may be calculated. But since it doesn't, I can merely list them and
then be on my way.

The integers are  47,  48,  49,  50,  51,  52, and  53 .
