why was an educated slave seen as a threat?

Sagot :

Once the slave had knowledge then it could do all sorts of things for example  if a slave learned how to read and understand a map then it could find a escape route
i think that they were seen as a threat because they could easily run away and get a job where there was no slavery and they wouldn't be taken away.
