2x-3y=8 solve for y I don't understand this at all can someone please help??

Sagot :

iGreen
2x - 3y = 8

Subtract '2x' to both sides:

-3y = -2x + 8

Divide -3 to both sides:

y = 2/3x + 8/3

or

y = 2/3x + 2 2/3
If the answer says solve for y then it would be fine to have a second variable the answer would be [tex]y= \frac{2}{3} x- \frac{8}{3} [/tex]
